Meet The Trainer

Meet Robert.

Southland born and bred, Robert brings an intelligent approach to horse training in the South Island. Shaped by his upbringing as part of the Dennis Brothers training and breeding operation, plus years of experience at leading stables and studs across the world.

With a background in Economics and Business Management, Robert combines sharp business acumen with his passion for racing. Since establishing Robert Dennis Racing at Ascot Park in 2023, he has built a reputation for professionalism, integrity, delivering consistent results and clear, open communication with owners throughout.

Home Base

Based at Ascot Park.

Robert Dennis Racing is based at Ascot Park in Southland a genuine home of Southern racing. It's the base for the daily training, care and preparation of our team, in an environment built around getting the best from every horse.
